JONATHAN IVE is voted as #1 of
"100 Most Creative People in Business".
He is an English designer and the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple Inc. He is also internationally renowned as the principal designer of the iMac, aluminum and titanium PowerBook G4, MacBook, unibody MacBook Pro, iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
Before the era of iPod and the iPhone became the world's electro-lust, Jonathan Ive sat down with Fast Company to talk about his first Apple blockbuster, the iMac. The machine is none other than a desktop computer in bright candy colors with a see-through shell showing its inner machinery. Thus, the iMac became the top-selling computer in the United States. The key to his success is comes from his dedication and passion. According to Apple's previous design chief, Robert Brunner, Jonathan Ive likes to make perfect stuffs. Secondly, his understanding of the interplay between design and manufacturing is beyond one's imagination. Ive too defined his overarching design principles as "simplicity, accessibility, honesty, and enjoyment."
The reason I decided to post about Mr Jonathan Ive is that his inventions from iMac to iPhone are well known world wide, despite that, not many know that all those devices were designed by him. So, everyone please appreciate his master pieces and remember his contribution to the world of technologies.

I suppose everyone is familiar with this brand, Nike. This is not just any Nike sports shoes, it is a Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Skate Or Die mens shoes. What make this Nike shoes special is that, Nike took a risk in making sports shoes for skate boarding purposes. But our hero, Sandy Bodecker saved the day.
Meet SANDY BODECKER. He is the Vice President of Nike Global Design. He is the man who is in charge of Nike's big push into skate park. He believes that inspiration is everywhere around us, it is just a matter how are we going to use it. He and his team manage to produce the lightest and the strongest high-performance footwear ever. Apart from that in 2007, Bodecker built powerful brands that had resisted the swoosh for soccer and skateboarding. If it not from him, we will not have comfortable and stylist Nike shoes to put on.
